01 — Introduction
A Pan-African platform, built to last.Global Afrique Assets — known as GAFRIQ — is a Pan-African investment and development company headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We exist to deploy long-horizon capital into the assets that will define Africa's next century of prosperity: power systems, the cities people live and work in, the destinations that showcase the continent to the world, and the businesses and institutions that hold it all together. We professionally manage client and partner assets to achieve optimal performance and growth within the African context. Our deep understanding of African markets — and our analysis of the trends, opportunities and shifting tides shaping them — informs better decisions for the governments, institutions and businesses we work alongside. Where others see risk, we see structurally under-supplied markets and a generational opportunity to build. Our model is deliberately patient. We organise around one disciplined parent and six operating sector platforms that reinforce one another — energy powers real estate, real estate hosts hospitality, and a shared governance, audit and ESG framework holds every platform to the same investor-grade standard. Capital is allocated on a multi-decade horizon, aligned with the long-lived assets we own and operate. 6 Sector platforms 4 Growth corridors 1+ GW Energy pipeline 100yr Capital horizon 03 — Vision, Mission & Values
Our Vision To be Africa's most trusted partner. In sustainable investment and transformative development — across the continent and beyond. Our Mission To build the assets that transform Africa. Through growth at scale, sustainability for the century, and prosperity shared with communities. The principles that shape every decisionIntegrity Honest counsel, transparent governance, and decisions that survive any disclosure. Excellence Investor-grade standards on every asset — engineering, governance and execution. Sustainability Built for the long term — environmentally, socially and financially. Partnership Long-term alliance with governments, communities and capital allocators. Innovation We back African solutions to African problems with global ambition. Impact The lens through which every decision is judged — measured in lives, not only IRR. 04 — Corporate Structure
One holding company. Six sector platforms.A disciplined architecture sits behind everything we do: one parent company, six operating arms, and a single set of shared standards. Each platform holds delegated authority within its sector perimeter, while audit, ESG and compliance are governed centrally — so capital compounds across the group rather than leaking between silos. 05 — Our Six Sectors, In Depth
Six sectors. One thesis. We invest where Africa is structurally under-supplied — power, places to live, places to host the world, growth capital, skills and dependable supply chains. The pages that follow set out each platform: what we build, how we operate it, and the impact it is designed to create. Reliable, affordable power is the foundation of every other thing GAFRIQ builds. Our energy platform develops, finances, builds and operates utility-scale renewable generation — solar, wind, hydro and storage — to industrialise homes, power hospitals and factories, and connect the future grid. Africa is the "sun continent," receiving more hours of bright sunshine than any other landmass; we are building the assets to capture that potential at scale. We take projects from origination through to long-term operations, assembling bankable structures with development-finance institutions, sovereign offtakers and best-in-class EPC contractors. Battery storage and grid infrastructure are designed in from day one, so the power we generate is dispatchable, dependable and capable of anchoring industrial demand — not just adding intermittent megawatts to a fragile network. Every plant is engineered for a 25-year-plus operating life and built to global environmental and safety standards, with local content and skills transfer embedded in the construction programme. The result is lower-carbon electrons that lower the cost of doing business across the continent — and a pipeline exceeding one gigawatt in development. What we do

Hydro · Storage +1 Billion New urban Africans will need to be housed and employed by 2050 — the demand our real-estate platform exists to meet. Africa is urbanising faster than any region in history. By 2050 the continent will add more than a billion new city-dwellers, and the places they will live, work and trade are still to be built. Our real-estate platform develops residential, commercial and mixed-use precincts at city scale — designing not just buildings, but the neighbourhoods and infrastructure that make them function. We focus on the formula a growing middle class can actually afford: well-built, affordable-to-premium housing delivered at volume, alongside Class-A offices, retail and logistics that anchor the formal economy. Our mixed-use precincts integrate transport, retail and energy so that they remain liveable and valuable for decades, not just at handover. Crucially, we develop the connective tissue too — the roads, utilities and amenity that link new neighbourhoods to the existing city. By coordinating with our energy platform, we can power developments with clean, reliable supply from the outset, lowering long-run costs for residents and tenants alike. What we build
Tourism is one of Africa's greatest untapped exports — and its finest ambassador. Our hospitality platform develops premium hotels, resorts and wellness destinations that deliver world-class service while remaining unmistakably African in soul and warmth. These are flagship assets: they showcase the continent's brand to global travellers and capture a tourism economy projected to be worth some US$300 billion by 2030. We build across three formats. Capital-city anchor hotels serve business and government travellers; signature resort destinations on the coast and islands draw international leisure demand; and high-design eco-and-safari lodges pair unforgettable experiences with gen |
